Mr Guah Eng Hock is an accomplished engineer and business owner who is passionate about advancing a sustainable future through innovative environment technologies and solutions.
Mr Guah holds both Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Degrees in Civil & Structural Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. He has more than 20 years of experience with various organisations in consultancy, engineering, project management, business development and directorship roles.
He was also deeply involved in the solid waste & Industrial Waste Water management profession in Singapore and the region. He had served in the Waste Management and Recycling Association of Singapore (WMRAS) as Chairman from 2010–2013. During his term as the Chairman of WMRAS, he gained prominence through his work in the region and was elected as the youngest Board Member of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) in 2010.
As a serial entrepreneur, Mr Guah started and managed Green Dot Consulting, SamGreen, SG Enviro and MY Enviro over the years. In 2024, SG Enviro became a proud winner of the 24th Singapore Environmental Achievement Awards in the Green Innovations (Water Solutions) category and also the Overall Outstanding Award Winner. Today, Mr Guah continues to spearhead SG Enviro’s regional expansion across the Southeast Asia region.
Dr Tu is an accomplished professional with over 12 years of experience in industrial water, wastewater treatment, water reuse, desalination, and advanced treatment technologies. As a Singapore Ministry of Education scholar, she obtained both her Bachelor’s degree and Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the National University of Singapore, with her doctoral research focused on the application of TiO₂-based Advanced Oxidation Processes for industrial wastewater treatment.
Before joining SG Enviro, Dr Tu played instrumental roles translating complex treatment technologies into practical, client-focused solutions in regional projects with Centa Environtech, MattenPlant, and Fluence Corporation across Southeast Asia.
At SG Enviro, Dr Tu heads the Process and Technical Design team, overseeing process strategy, technical design, proposal development, costing support, technology evaluation, and engineering solution formulation. Her strong technical-commercial profile makes her a valuable leader leading SG Enviro’s continued growth across the wider regional market.
Ms Chong leads the delivery of advanced environmental solutions for industrial wastewater treatment at SG Enviro with over 25 years of extensive experience in infrastructure project management, engineering design, and operational leadership. As the Project Director for the landmark Design and Build of the Phenol Treatment Plant at Jurong Rock Caverns, she spearheads the end-to-end integration of design, procurement, and construction, ensuring rigorous compliance.
Before joining SG Enviro, Ms Chong spent 17 years at JTC Corporation from 2004 to 2021 and her last position held was the Deputy Director in the Infrastructure Projects Division. Her tenure at JTC was marked by her oversight of many infrastructure developments on Jurong Island and mainland Singapore. Her experience spans managing diverse project portfolios, where she led project managers to deliver infrastructure solutions under complex regulatory and physical conditions.
Ms Chong began her career as a Civil and Structural Engineer at KTP Consultants, where she developed deep expertise in design requirements, authority submissions, and site implementation for diverse sectors. Her technical foundations are further supported by her early career as a Research Engineer at the National University of Singapore. Ms Chong leverages her deep understanding of Singapore’s industrial landscape and stringent regulatory frameworks to ensure that SG Enviro continues to provide sustainable, efficient, and world-class environmental solutions for the region’s most challenging industrial requirements.
