SG Enviro Pte Ltd, Singapore-headquartered environmental engineering company specializing in sustainable water and wastewater treatment solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a new project by Eastern Dormitory 1 Pte Ltd for the Upgrading and Retrofitting of its existing Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Changi Airport Terminal 5 Worker’s Dormitory.
The project involves the addition of new reinforced concrete structure STP coupled with state-of-the-art Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) systems to enhance existing STP infrastructure. The upgraded system is expected to strengthen wastewater treatment with improved efficiencies, reliability while supporting long-term operational resilience and resource efficiency for the dormitory, which houses an estimated 12,500 workers supporting the development of Singapore’s upcoming Terminal 5 airport project for the next few years.
